A
note about our pricing...
Unlike many other Web development
companies out there, we won't ever "nickel and dime" you, or give
you a low initial quote and surprise you later with additional charges.
Up-front pricing for well-defined projects. While we
are willing to consider various payment structures, most clients prefer
that we give an up-front price in writing - a maximum fee that they will
be charged. We understand this and, if the job allows it, we are happy to
give such a quote.
If you aren't sure what you want. For some clients, those who do not know
exactly what they want to include in their web sites, we can provide
advice and consultation before quoting, or we can also structure fees
for our work in two (or more) parts:
- The "mock-up" stage, in which we will create a screen-by-screen
design "mock-up" (no programming at this stage at all) is done
on an hourly basis. We may do this for clients who have a hard
time defining what they want their site to be before they see
a sample or starting point.
- The "build/test/deploy" stage is done on a fixed-price basis.
We will give you a quote based entirely on the "mock-up" that
we agree upon.
Breaking the project into multiple smaller projects. If you want many
different functions built into your site, you may also want to consider
breaking the overall development into smaller, less-expensive and more manageable
pieces that can be accomplished over a longer time period.
Change Fees. We provide quotes based on our assessment of the amount and
difficulty of the work you are asking for. If during the course of the
project you decide to change the job in a way that will make extra work
for us, we will provide a "revised estimate" to you for your approval
before we engage in the additional work. That way, you know at every
step of the way what you are spending. NO SURPRISES!!
